Michael, I somehow lost the professionl card that you gave me, and am, as a result, writing a thank-note to you via this means.
I cannot adequately tell you how much I enjoyed being with you during my trip to Abington last weekend. You are a most kind and generous person as well as a dear friend. Your help to me during the performance Friday evening, re. being sure I got up and onto the podium safely and down again, etc., was very much appreciated, as I am not as sure of my balance now as I used to be (as someone once said, "geting old is not for sissies".....no truer words were ever spoken!).
I also want to thank you for "The Choral Challenge". It's a great and informative book, and will be extremely helpful to many, especially to those who have not had the collegiate educatopm in choral music that you and I have had.
Once again, my most sincere "thank you", and best wishes always in both your present and future endeavors.
